To acquire great paint adhesion and the best finish possible you must have a properly prepared surface before your painting process begins. To achieve this, many metal fabricators use time consuming, labor intensive, expensive and environmentally non-compliant methods. There is a metal pretreatment system available that will not only clean and degrease your metal products in one step but will also apply a phosphate coating on the metal substrate. The CPR System will recycle the wash water bath reclaiming the chemical phosphate for future use.
The CPR System utilizes a high-pressure, Bondtite pressure washer that produces spray wand washing pressures of up to 4,000 PSI and water temperatures of 180 degrees. The Bondite cleaning unit’s spray wand makes it possible for the user to clean into corners and problem areas to ensure a fully cleaned phosphated metal surface.
The CPR System provides a no flash rust guarantee for 14-days at 50 percent humidity. The one step cleaning and phosphate process leaves a phosphate coating on the metal surface. The phosphate coating acts as an additional bonding agent and corrosion inhibitor. In addition, high-pressure spray wand phosphating will increase salt spray test times.
